SPOT Engagements (Sage SalesLogix Performance Optimization & Tuning) – CRM system performance is key to a successful deployment, including end-user buy-in. Our team of performance engineers will investigate your current setup, identify bottlenecks in your infrastructure, and review performance of existing customizations. Benchmarking will be done and reported so we have a baseline to measure against. Then we will make the appropriate performance improvements, including database indexing, Windows and IIS tuning, Citrix optimization, and customization enhancements. When each step is completed, new measurements will be taken to gauge the performance improvements on the end-user experience. All of this can be done remotely or on-site, depending on your requirements.
Sync Monitoring Tool – If you have deployed Sage SalesLogix to remote users, do you find that many users don’t sync as often as you would like them to? Do you have trouble finding an employee to monitor sync services? Sage Professional Services Group has developed a tool for you!
This utility monitors the health of all sync servers by performing specific activities such as:
- If the sync service is stopped, send an e-mail to the specified recipients with a notification that the service is stopped.
- Query the event log on each Sage SalesLogix Sync server on a daily basis. If at least one error or warning is found, one e-mail will be sent to the specified recipients with a list of errors found and a link to the log file.
- Query the SyncErrors.txt file on each Sage SalesLogix Sync server. If errors exist in the file, a notification e-mail will be sent to the specified recipients informing them that there are errors in the SyncErrors_yyyymmdd.txt file with a link to the file.
- Query FTP directories for error files. Count the number of files in the Infiles\Rejected and FailedTrans folders on the primary and secondary sync servers as well as the FailedTrans on the FTP server. If the count of files in any folders is greater than 0, send an e-mail to the specified recipients with a link to the folder(s) affected.
- Produce an HTML report containing information for each remote user and office with files waiting, showing the date of the oldest file waiting and the number of outbound TEFs. Any user who has not synced within 7 days will be highlighted in red within the report. This report will be e-mailed to the specified recipients. An e-mail will also be sent to any users that have not synchronized in over 7 days, informing the user to sync
